Bitter sweet

Love looks better abandoned
Never touched, never famished
I had a sour soul a stench of madness
My actions were innocent, pure and blameless
Then I killed, I took another life
I claimed it mine a life full of strife
The day I touched your smell
The day I prayed, for in you I fell
Decades came, decades passed
Time never reveals, it polishes the farce
Although time sure does taint the saint
All your doings remained in eyesight faint
Known heroine is caught once more
With her heart on her sleeve she foretold what she saw
Seasoned heart or quite the other
I’d choose another, a yours truly lover
Love makes me wither
How can I stop this endearing fever
