Rain rain go away

Rain

I loved the tear drops that made new the lands

Heavy and swift they drew emotions

Like scorched throats the earth draws in with wasting hands

Collecting sands that slid by in passive erosions

The roof keeps still those who lie awake

Just enough whispers of human escape

Through sky lighters and thunder quakes

They cower under blankets they used as capes

Some walk in shameful woes

Those who by day and night stand against the storm

Their tears  are dry as unseen to foes

In the rain those unknown find a  home
